Reverb 2.0
Accessibility Enhancements
Reverb 2.0 now includes improved accessibility features to help ensure your documentation meets modern accessibility standards. Enhancements include semantic HTML5 elements, ARIA roles and labels, and improved keyboard navigation support. For more information, see Reverb 2.0 Accessibility.
SEO Improvements
New search engine optimization features help improve the discoverability of your documentation:
  • Automatic generation of sitemap.xml for search engine indexing
  • Configurable robots.txt for controlling crawler behavior
  • Open Graph meta tags for social media sharing
  • Twitter Card support for optimized link previews
For more information, see SEO.
Landmark IDs
A new Landmark ID system provides stable, content-based identifiers for navigation to specific locations within your documentation. Landmark IDs use deterministic hashing to create URLs that persist across documentation regenerations, making them ideal for external references and AI-powered search integrations. For more information, see Landmark IDs.
Share Widget
The new Share Widget enables end users to easily copy and share direct links to specific content locations. The widget leverages Landmark IDs to provide stable URLs that can be shared via email, support tickets, or other channels. For more information, see Share Widget.
Images can now be configured with Click to Zoom functionality, allowing users to view graphics at larger sizes in a lightbox overlay. When enabled for a graphic style, users can click images to enlarge them for better viewing of detailed diagrams, screenshots, and complex graphics. For more information, see Click to Zoom.
Cache Busting
Reverb 2.0 now implements automatic cache busting by appending version query parameters to resource URLs. This ensures browsers load the latest versions of CSS, JavaScript, and other assets after documentation updates, eliminating stale cache issues. For more information, see Cache Busting.
Search Results Breadcrumbs
Search results now display breadcrumb navigation showing the location of each result within the documentation hierarchy. This helps users understand the context of search results and navigate more effectively to the content they need.
Front Page Behavior
A new target setting allows you to control whether the table of contents is expanded or collapsed when users first view the front page. Set to "Collapsed" to create an uncluttered initial viewing experience.
